Paul G. Taylor, the local attorney who won a $16.5 million settlement
for over 700 Dixie Narco workers in 1995, has filed for a seat on the Jefferson County Commission.
Taylor, age 48 and a resident
of Shepherdstown, has practiced law in the Eastern Panhandle since 1991. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Taylor graduated from George
Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. He is licensed to practice
law in D.C., Virginia and West Virginia.
"I have been serving the public in the Eastern Panhandle since 1991. Running for Jefferson
County Commissioner is a natural extension of my public service. I will bring civility and balance to the Commission," said Taylor.
